When West Midlands Safari Park set out to create their stunning luxury lodges, they required ultra-secure, large-format glazing to ensure both safety and an immersive guest experience.

Our Fabrication Solution
Sheet Metal Services designed and manufactured a robust framing system to securely house the specialist glazing.
Each window unit included:
- Two precision-fabricated frames
- Constructed from 100mm x 100mm x 5mm box section steel
- A 40mm thick single-piece glazing panel
The design allowed the frames to ‘sandwich’ the glazing panel, creating an exceptionally strong and secure installation.
The Result
The completed glazing system delivers maximum safety without compromising the guest experience, offering uninterrupted views while maintaining the structural integrity required in a safari park setting.
